Business Model

Ethics

VuHolo has a strict "No Advertisement" policy. We are not interested in becoming another advertising machine, only to further pollute the minds of people. We will always look for innovative and ethical means of generating revenue.

Products

HoloLens App

HoloLens is one of the first optical see through devices. VuHolo uses this emerging technology to fill the world with fun and interactive experiences. As mobile GPU processing increases, we will be able to bring even more vivid and complex experiences to the world.

iOS & Android App

Although Development began on the Microsoft HoloLens, we are excited to bring augmented reality experiences to Android and iOS devices. These 2 versions could also be split into separate projects, their underlying functionality is the same. Due to the video-see through nature of this app, it is an entirely different experience as compared to that of a optical-see through device, such as the HoloLens.

Example Partners

We built 2 organizations to demonstrate the potential for this new market.

HoloInvites

Augmented Reality Greeting Cards

AshleyMegan

Augmented Reality Jewelry

External Partner

Death in Venice

We were thrilled to work with Death in Venice, a gelato company. We created a 3D skull which was augmented to their logo. They made videos with the effects and shared them on their social media streams. They were also one of our first hosts for a Pop-Up Shop!

Status

Our goal was to bootstrap this business and generate revenue by charging HoloInvites and AshleyMegan along with working with other businesses to create AR marketing initiatives. We've come to the realization that we've simply spread ourselves too thin. Essentially working on 3 businesses between 2 people is incredibly difficult. We have gained a tremendous amount of experience and now it's time to apply that experience.

Next Steps

With the experience we've gained we have a much better idea of what is required to operate and grow such a business. Our next steps are to formalize these costs and raise capital to make this venture a success!
